Standard: DIN7505

Countersunk Head Chipboard Screw, Torx, with Ribs conforming to DIN7505 specifications are designed for particle board and chipboard fastening applications. The Torx (hexalobular) drive minimizes cam-out and allows higher torque transmission for efficient installation. Ribs under the head reduce driving torque and improve countersinking for a flush finish.
Available in sizes 3.5mm through 4.0mm with lengths from 12-60mm to 16-70mm, covering the most common range for industrial assembly applications. Custom sizes outside standard ranges can be produced for OEM customers with sufficient volume requirements. Standard materials include carbon steel Grades 4.8 and 8.8. Stainless steel A2 and A4 available for corrosive environments. Surface treatments include zinc plating (Z.P.L), black zinc phosphate (B.Z.P), nickel plating (Ni.P), Decromet, Ruspert ceramic coating, and hot-dip galvanizing.
Typical applications span furniture assembly, cabinet manufacturing, particle board construction. These fasteners are designed to meet or exceed applicable international standards for dimensional accuracy and mechanical performance. Aufaster supplies these products in bulk packaging with full material traceability per EN 10204 Type 3.1, dimensional inspection reports, and mill test certificates available on request. Custom sizes, special materials, and non-standard finishes are available for OEM customers with volume requirements.
